I was born on the island of Samos, which is part of modern-day Turkey. I traveled across the world, from Egypt to India, to search for truth. Later, I opened a school in Italy and taught that “Everything in the world is made of numbers!” At my school, people had to wear only white clothes, and I told them not to eat meat, food that had fallen on the ground, or even beans!
