The Five Platonic Solids

A regular polyhedron is a 3D shape where all the faces are the same. The tetrahedron looks likes fire. The cube is strong and solid like the earth. The octahedron feels light, like it could float up into the sky like air. 

The icosahedron is round and smooth like a drop of water. And the dodecahedron is like the universe — holding all the others inside it! Isn’t that amazing?
